For KitChoCho – “Fortune
Butterfly”, we’ve selected a
simple design motif found in
centuries-old Chinese artifacts
discovered along the Silk Road.
This design motif symbolizes
positive energy and is the
abstract expression of the color-
ful wings of butterflies.

Juxtaposition of the ancient
motifs, along with the texture
and pattern, creates a rather
modern and organic feeling. It is
a modern art piece that commu-
nicates Yin, Yan, positive and
negative, the conversation
among individual motif and their
dependency upon one another.
